Behold the lovely “Marmore’s fall” in Central Italy. This lovely waterfall is divided into three distinct falls with a combined height of 541 feet.
The Ancient Romans were brilliant engineers. You only have to look at the Coliseum in Rome or drive along one of their dead-straight roads, many of which are still in use today, to see it. But did you know they also built the world’s tallest man-made waterfall over 2280 years ago? And you can still see it for yourself, just as the Romans did, but you can also kayak, raft and canyon down the lower rapids too!
